Keramidi today

Keramidi in nowadays counts no more than 700 residents, a number which is doubled during the summer vacations. Together with the nearby village of Veneto, they consist one of the smallest communities of Magnesia prefecture.

 

Main occupations of the village residents are the free, and for this the reason primarily ecological, livestock-farming, the fishery and the olive-crop.

In 5 km distance from the village, the visitor may reach three fascinating embraces in the sea and respective settlements.

Veneto is found more southernly of Keramidi and is henceforth accessible with new road (13 km.) from signaled carrefour in the middle of way from Kanalia to Keramidi.

The more near village to the north, in the limits of prefectures Magnesia and Larissa, is the village of Sklithro. The access today is through a muddy and coastal road (13 km.), which is shortly going to be asphalted roadway and it thus to constitute the exit of the village to the more northern beaches of Larissa prefecture.
