Fests - Cultural

  •  The celebration of the name day of St.George (main village's church), when there is the custom of a community offered meal, called "blougouri". This is made of a variety of different kinds of meat, donated by the village's farmers, together with coarse-cut wheat. This is usually followed by a traditional rave-up, especially when the celebration coincides with the holly Easter.
  •  The 3-day festival, on 23-25 of August, dedicated to the ninth day after the funeral of Mother Mary.
  • The celebration of name day of other saints and smaller churches of the village.

August festival 

Last summer, in August 2004, an exhibition with everyday life usage tools and photos that demonstra- ted the way of living for the village's residents in the period from the start until the middle of 20th century, hosted in the premises of Keramidi's Cultural Club. In addition, some days before the August festival, on 20 of August 2004, a cultural drama was played in the central square of Keramidi on the topic of "scocial and interpersonal relations of the village's women". This event was followed by traditional dances by the women dance group of Keramidi.
